In late 1969, John Lennon & Yoko Ono agreed to appear at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival Festival as the newly created Plastic Ono Band, with Bo Didley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard performing on the same program. John could at last introduce Yoko to the heroes of his childhood. Captured on film by legendary rock documentarian D.A. Pennebaker (who had recently directed the seminal Bob Dylan documentary, Don't Look Back), this scintillating live show is Lennon's only filmed performance with the Plastic Ono Band - the all-star line-up also included Eric Clapton on guitar, Klaus Voorman on bass, and Alan White on drums. In the year The Beatles recorded their final album, Abbey Road, John Lennon here embarks on a new musical odyssey with partner Yoko, performing classic songs including: Give Peace A Chance, Cold Turkey, Money, Bo Diddley, Hound Dog, Johnny B. Goode, Lucille, Blue Suede Shoes, You Make Me Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Yer Blues, John, John (Let's Hope For Peace)
